Introducing: The Ivy Line
Last month, Boxcar launched Strikeclock.com to support commuters in anticipation of a potential NJ Transit strike. After gathering feedback from the commuters themselves, West Windsor and Princeton areas took a commanding lead in the most-requested service areas.
We are thrilled to announce that beginning Monday, May 19th, Boxcar began serving West Windsor/Princeton. This line will run next week only unless we receive enough ridership to make it a full time route.
We are starting with 3 morning NY-bound runs and 3 evening NJ-bound runs. If we see these buses sell out in the next few days, we will quickly add more capacity prior to the strike. The times are:
- 6:05 AM
- 6:35 AM
- 7:05 AM
- 4:35 PM
- 5:15 PM
- 5:50 PM
Drop offs in NYC are below:
The pick up point is located at Lot #4 at 845 Alexander Rd and has ample parking available. Parking can be purchased via park mobile zone 4801 The exact pick up point can be seen below:
Boxcar also has parking at 43 Station Dr which can be booked in advance HERE.
Boxcar 's convenient Midtown drop offs and pick ups can be found through in the app or in our FAQ page.
