Customer Success Associate

Fast-growing startup is looking for a Customer Success Associate to join our team. The Associate will be responsible for addressing customer issues, questions, and concerns via email, phone, and social media, as well as occasional in-person events. We are committed to simplifying life for our suburban customers, and are looking for someone who shares that passion.

 

The ideal candidate will handle the day-to-day operations of our customer engagement. This part-time, hourly position includes work before 9 am and after 5 pm, with the potential to grow to full time in the future

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide highest-level, personalized support to Boxcar’s customers, responding to and resolving issues quickly and appropriately.

  • Quickly become knowledgeable about Boxcar’s varied product lines and customer base.

  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with every customer.

  • Answer incoming customer calls  and emails regarding billing issues, product problems, service questions, and general client concerns.

  • Update customer information in the customer service database during and after each interaction.

Requirements:

  • Ability to multi-task and juggle several projects at once while providing excellent service.

  • Excellent written and spoken English.

  • Problem-solving ability.

  • Team player, willing to jump in where and when needed.

  • Proficiency with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, MS word and Excel.

  • Early-morning and evening availability required.  

  • 1-3 years Customer Success experience.

 

Business Development Associate

 

Boxcar’s Business Development Team is responsible for growing the company’s inventory of parking and complementary services throughout the suburbs in New Jersey and beyond.  As an associate, you will be responsible for researching and identifying property owners, vendors, and small businesses, contacting them, and completing agreements to bring them onto the boxcar platform.

 

You will also help spearhead new initiatives as we expand our product offerings to suburban markets. These new product lines will include everything from drive-in movies to electric scooter sales to delivery of holiday-themed gift boxes. The successful applicant will be able to see these projects through from ideation all the way through to delivery. This is an entry level position.

 

Extensive training in Boxcar’s sales process will be conducted to onboard new associates. Compensation will include base salary, commission, and equity.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Research: Actively work to identify towns in need of Boxcar’s software solutions and ideal partners within those towns. Build and track pipelines of potential small business partners and leads.

  • Outreach & Follow-up: Contact business owners to communicate Boxcar’s partnership options. Initial contact can be made via cold call, email, in person, or through an introduction at the town level.

  • Logistics & Delivery: Will be an integral part of events such as drive-in movies and gift box delivery, responsible for both sourcing and on-site completion and delivery.

  • Marketing:  Assist in distribution of marketing content (digital & physical) to help sell parking, events and deliverables to a reasonable capacity once listed on the Boxcar platform.

  • Client Support:  Maintain satisfactory relationships with active clients.  Work with Customer Service Team to clearly communicate any changes and respond to any questions or issues they may have.

  • Ownership: acts without being told what to do, is self-motivated and a self-starter. Brings new ideas to the company.
