Raritan Rocket Returns!
I’m excited to announce that starting Monday, May 17 Boxcar is bringing back our round-trip Raritan Rocket bus route from Westfield and Cranford to Midtown! This route is near and dear to my heart as a Cranford native. We’ve heard from a number of customers in the area that they are headed back to work soon, and I wanted to make sure we were here to provide you with a convenient, comfortable alternative.
For this route, we’re partnering with Yankee Line, a premier bus provider. I know their ultra-luxury buses, complete with leather seats and extra legroom, will make your Boxcar commute even better.
Morning Schedule:
Westfield Train Station (North side): 6:15 am
Cranford Train Station (North side): 6:25 am
Evening Schedule:
115 W 45th St (between 6th & 7th): 5:10 pm
We’ve also added new stops in Midtown – our route now extends all the way to Madison and 71st. I hope this will help even more riders avoid the subways, in addition to the crowds at Port Authority or Penn Station.
We are capping our capacity at 50% right now, and all riders and drivers must wear masks on board. As always, getting our customers to their destination comfortably, quickly and safely is our primary goal.
