Introducing the Ridgeliner Lower Midtown Route

For years, Ridgeliner riders have asked us for a better way to reach Lower Midtown and the west side of Manhattan.

We heard you.

Starting October 13, Boxcar is launching an entirely new Ridgeliner Lower Midtown route, giving riders direct service to neighborhoods and offices that have never before been served by the Ridgeliner.

We are launching with two morning options and one evening option:

• 5:40 AM
• 8:15 AM
• 5:10 PM

The new route will serve:

• 10th Ave & 34th St
• 11th Ave & Hudson Blvd
• 9th Ave & 23rd St
• 5th Ave & E 23rd St
• 14th St & 5th Ave
• 14th St & 7th Ave
• 14th St & 10th Ave

This is a completely new addition to Ridgeliner service and one we hope to keep growing.

We are starting with one bus operating these three trips, but our goal is to expand the Lower Midtown schedule as ridership builds. The best way to help us do that is simple: ride it.

If the new stops make Boxcar more convenient for a friend, coworker, neighbor, or family member, send them our way. The more riders who use the route, the more opportunities we will have to add additional Lower Midtown service.

We are excited to finally bring Lower Midtown service to the Ridgeliner and look forward to seeing where we can take it from here.
