Boxcar Goes to the Races!
In case you hadn’t noticed, I love all things Jersey. Throw in some history and a good party, and you can’t keep me away! That’s why I’m thrilled to announce that Boxcar will have a presence at The Far Hills Race Meeting on October 16. I’ve always been intrigued by The Hunt (as it’s known to its many, many fans), and I’m thrilled that this year Boxcar will be able to be part of it.
In its 100th year, The Far Hills Race Meeting is New Jersey’s answer to the Kentucky Derby – a fantastic mix of steeplechasing, tailgating, and parties. It attracts up to 30,000 guests every year, and is a major fundraiser for area health-care organizations. Over $18 million has been donated so far, and this year’s event is gearing up to raise even more.
As always, at Boxcar we want to make life as simple and convenient as possible for our customers. Are you headed to Far Hills this year, but don't have a ticket yet? We can help with that – purchase your ticket through Boxcar, and you'll not only be able to see the races, but you'll have access to Boxcar's exclusive Hilltop Hospitality tent, with food and drinks available throughout the day.
Getting to the Race Meeting (or home) can be tricky - a huge crowd on the streets of Far Hills can lead to stress and frustration, just what you don’t want at the end of a fun-filled fall day. Luckily, Boxcar has some experience making travel less stressful! We’ll be running our luxury buses from the Chatham train station to the Far Hills Race Meeting, so all you have to worry about is watching the races and having a good time. Anyone with an active Boxcar Membership - VP, Analyst, Super Parker or Commuter - as of October 1 is also welcome to come by and join us in our tent for food, drinks and fun. If you don’t already have a membership, you can join now through the app (in addition to entrance to our VIP Hilltop tent, you’ll get great discounts on transportation or parking)!
